FLAVIA MORAES is a director, producer, editor and creative force.
For over two decades, she led one of South America’s top production companies, directing acclaimed work across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe—spanning commercials, series, feature films, documentaries, and major live concerts.
One of the first Brazilians to join the Director’s Guild of America, Flavia has been recognized with Cannes Lions, Clio, and Caboré awards for her contributions to the industry.
Most recently, as Head of Innovation for RBS Group, one of Brazil’s largest communication conglomerates, she spearheaded The Communication(R)evolution—a global study synthesizing insights on technology, communication, and entertainment. This research guided the group's transformation from a traditional media company into a future-focused enterprise and culminated in a TEDx presentation. She also led the creation of OCTO, an experimental multimedia platform that blended emerging technology, social trends, and traditional media.
Her most recent films—Visions in the Dark and Milton Bituca Nascimento— have earned international recognition. Visions was acclaimed for its emotional depth and visual power, while Milton became the most-watched documentary of 2025 in Brazil and was honored with the Grande Otelo Award – the highest distinction granted by the Brazilian Film Academy.

"I am committed to transformative, purpose-driven work.
Storytelling, for me, is a force for change — and change is urgent.
I moved to Europe seeking a climate not only more creatively free, but more human at its core, a place in tune with the stories I feel compelled to tell — and with the need to resist."
